The Youth Football Association has congratulated Robert Gatt, who has just been appointed Technical Director and Head of the Malta Football Association Technical Centre.

“We wish him every success in his new role and we are certain that with his qualities and vast experience, including working in the youth football sector, will help Maltese football move forward,“ said the President of the Youth FA, Fr.Hilary Tagliaferro.

He went on to praise the vision of the MFA, which will continue to invest in the grassroots, by developing a regional system to ensure that the best young football talent makes it to Ta’ Qali and heavy investment in education of coaches.

“All this bodes well for the future and after a couple of meetings with Robert Gatt, we are already certain that we will work well together for the benefit of our players and the local football scene in general,“ concluded Fr Hilary.
